Off shore wind
An important source of renewables for the future, as I understand it.
After breakfast and check out, we headed over to Rockcliffe and walked out to Castle Hill Point. It was a really pleasant short walk - good as a prelude to driving home. We could see this windfarm also when we did the Rascarrel Bay walk on Friday. In fact, from Castle Hill Point, we could clearly see not just Hestan Island, which is right opposite the hotel, but also the hotel itself nestled in Balcary Bay.
It's been a great break, with many high points. However, last night the hotel managed to get itself into a bit of a mess over uneven application of some of the more troublesome covid rules. I won't be more specific, and it wasn't a big deal, but we were a bit irritated in the circumstances. Hopefully, as we shall soon move to level 2, things will get easier.
Home now after a smooth journey home. The new car really does practically drive itself. After three rich dinners, and the indulgence of cooked breakfasts, we are planning something quite simple for our supper. Three days of an 'all inclusive' package was quite enough for us. Although tomorrow is a bank holiday, I effectively took my bank holiday at the end of last week, so I'm back to work tomorrow. I have a very busy week indeed, but I'm looking forward to it more than I would have done if I had just ploughed on through the days without a break.
