RIVER OF DREAMS

A trip over to visit Mum today.  A pleasant few hours just chatting, having lunch and drinking coffee.  

Then we thought we would come home via Morecambe Prom so I could stop and take a Blip for today!!!!!  No way.  Every single spare space on the roadside and even in the car park by the golf club was full.   I would say Morecambe sea front was busy but not heaving - not at that stretch of The Prom anyway.  Still too peopley for me.  Of course it is a Bank Holiday so to be expected really.  In one way though it is nice to see families out enjoying themselves. 

We noticed Dallam Deer Park and the lovely building that is now fenced off and the roof totally missing.  I was going to stop just outside Milnthorpe for a photo of the River Bela but that layby too was full .

So we just pressed on and called into Levens Hall to take a photo of The River Kent and this lovely bridge.  The Hall has scaffolding around it and the car park was busy but still spaces.  

We then got home OK, Grange was fairly busy for a Sunday but not too bad.
