Near fatal crime committed in the early hours when an unnamed frog was pushed off the garden waterfall. 
Prime Suspects are a group of young blackbirds, although at this stage we cannot rule out the sparrows or robins that frequent the waterfall. 
We are asking for any witness to the crime should come forward. 
We can report the frog is in intensive care awaiting an operation to reattach the severed limbs.
This is an experimental procedure as the surgeon, Dr Baz, only just received the repair kit from Amazon a few weeks ago based on a recommended by Dr Zoe Bear (his daughter). This procedure is based on an eastern philosophy of 'Wabi-sabi', and I quote 'Wabi-sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection' or as it says on the box 'celebrate imperfection by repairing your ceramics with gold'.
