Deeply Vale
This is Lower Deeply Vale Mill, well what's left of it.
One of 40 Mills in the Cheesden Valley that employed 2000 people, nearly 200 years ago.
A trail of ruins now, being reclaimed by nature.
Industrial Archaeology doesn't sound sexy, but I love exploring and imagining what would have been there.
Always curious why that bit survived, and the rest didn't.
Love the flight of stairs sticking out of the wall. Maybe up to the foreman's office? Who knows?
