A Very Unusual Sight.......

While out riding my bike last night I witnessed a sight for the first time.  I saw police officers going in and out of a villa with a gurney.    As is my usual practice, I stopped to thank the officers for their service, for protecting us and for keeping us safe. 
    As usual, they were sadly, very surprised.  They are far more accustomed to be sworn at,  and totally disrespected.   I hate to see and hear that. For if we didn't have laws and enforcement of them, we would live in a very wild and uncivilized country.
     The reason they were in OTOW was because a resident died suddenly, leaving no instructions.   The Forensic Unit and the Medical examiner are dispatched in such situations.  In 3 years of living here I haven't seen either unit in OTOW, even though we are a 55+ community.
