May Day Dawn on Arthur's Seat

Continued the tradition with my daughter of celebrating May day. We washed our faces in the due with a 5.30am alarm call. Were at the steep Duddingston path up just after 6am. This photo was snapped soon after. IP and down in the hour. Walk with my pal Jane who plans 10 ascents/descents of the hill this weekend to raise sponsorship funds for porty rowing club. Met a significant part of the Simpson clan up their, including my daughter's pal M. Small world. Have since been told my good friend R's niece got engaged up there that morning too.
