Mayfield

This morning I drove to Newtongrange with my bike, and spent three hours exploring roads and trails in the area. This included the delightfully named "Gore Glen Woodland Park" - beside Gorebridge - as well as Arniston Engine, Easthouses and Mayfield. None of the towns is flat, but Mayfield is built on a relatively steep hillside, and at the top of the town there is this fine view over to the Pentlands.
