Full Steam Ahead

At last!

Over five months since we last carried paying passengers, at 1030 this morning the first train of the 2021 season departed Tywyn Wharf.    Well loaded, much photographed and Covid safe, a good time was had by all and once again we are hearing engine whistles from our garden :-)

I was mid shift, cleaning the facilities before the public arrived and sorting a few other bits and pieces out.   One thing is already clear, more people around means more mess to clean up and more rubbish to dispose of!    

After taking Jamie and Meg to dog agility at lunchtime - where did those heavy wintery showers come from, I spent the afternoon doing assorted little garden jobs.   There are big garden jobs ahead but planting, weeding, seed collecting (from the bulbs) and tidying all need doing too.    Lovely outside once the sunshine returned.
