Things I've learnt this week

1.  Nightingales don't seem to sing when it rains
2.  PG tips are barely available anymore in French supermarkets
3.  Prescribed drugs should be taken gradually otherwise you hallucinate, can't walk straight, see double and drive into ditches.
4.  Ditches (especially wet ones) should be avoided.
5.  One swallow doesn't make a summer
6.  Doors don' have to have step, you could just jump.
7.  Cast ne'er a clout 'til May be out.
