Lazy May Day

Weather has been rather mixed all day so plans for outdoors were put on hold. Day spent sorting and moving bits of furniture around to give a bit more space in the living room.

Used the post office for banking today - first time I’ve paid money in this way and it was super straightforward. Half an hour before the post office closed and it suddenly turned into chaos with the queue going outside the door. I guess as banks and Post Offices reduce their hours and close branches it’s an inevitable consequence.

Fish finger sandwich for lunch will sweet honey mustard (yes it works!)

Decided to be productive and feed all my trusty Dr Martens- they seem to be super thirsty and dry this year for some reason.

Had an unexpected phone call from my best friend from Uni. Really good to catch up. She is having a Christmas celebration with her family when restrictions are finally lifted later in May - sounds like a great idea!
