Kilspindie
George invited me down to Kilspindie today so I spent all afternoon at the seaside. A beautiful sunny day but a typical east coast wind so we were pretty much in full winter gear. When I arrived and stood gazing over Aberlady Bay, I was wishing I’d brought a pair of fleece-lined trousers and then a couple of guys turned up wearing shorts. I mean, come on! The extra is of some seals basking in the hot sun and warm sea.
Anyway, my golf was good and then all of a sudden it wasn’t, so my host beat me quite handily. I always like to boost other folk’s confidence.
Back home and time to celebrate JacktheLad’s 300th pub quiz, even if the last year’s worth have been pub free. I tell you, the lad has some staying power! And in the background the Jambos were finishing their season off in style by putting Raith Rovers to the sword. No dancing in the streets of Raith tonight.
