Winter has arrived

I am really surprised that there are any leaves left on the tree as we had such a wild night, with high winds, torrential rain and thunder.

It was supposed to rain for most of the day but fortunately the sun came out when we were about to go out with Shiv. Although it was still a bit nippy, and pretty muddy underfoot, we had a lovely long walk.
