Listening to the prayers

Holy Week continues with more evening services to enjoy listening to. A nice way to spend a summer’s evening then my usual loop into the centre and home.
A good day, some marking then Zoom Pilates. My trainer has been locked out of Kw8 for three months with hundreds of other workers, stuck in Dubai, gratefully being hosted by a friend. Dubai is a red zone country so going back to the UK isn’t an easy option either. Not being a Dubai resident makes getting a vaccine difficult. Nothing is straight forward now.
A good walk at lunch today and a good laugh with my students. That sounds like an incantation from Harry Potter, one said. Are you calling me a witch, I asked! Term finishes in three weeks, I’ll miss them.
