Friday feeling

Call in shows this morning had people queuing up to say that they couldn’t care less about the Johnson refurbishment of Downing Street story.

To be clear that means that the people who recently lost their shit because an MP put a pair of Bluetooth headphones (for use in zoom calls) on expenses (circa £200) have no problem with Bozo spending the price of a decent detached house in a ‘red wall’ constituency on some genuinely terrible wallpaper and furniture.

They have no problem with him getting the money from a donor and only deciding to pay himself when caught doing it.

And they aren’t concerned that in return, said donor might expect a multi-million pound contract for defective equipment that causes multiple deaths, sometime in the future.

Some people really do deserve every terrible thing coming their way.

Sadly they will be taking all the rest of us with them for the ride.
