There were Swans

5.2C and grey. Rain early. Strong cold wind (Easterly).

Apothecary7 has some days off work.
This morning we went to M&S at City Quay in Dundee. Coffee and cake for me, Earl Grey and a bacon roll for Apothecary7. The little biscuits from the cups for Maeve the Deerhound (once we got home).

We went home via Broughty Ferry. I wanted a red or green pen. I got red.
On the way back to the car, which was parked by the pier, we stopped to snap some snaps of the Swans that a boy was feeding with bread. I confess to being more entertained when the boy slipped, landed on his rear end, and slid down the cobbled bank towards the water. The swans pounced in search of bread. To his credit the boy popped up and carried on as if nothing had happened :-)
