A very Scottish scene

It was good to slip into the swimming pool this afternoon after more than a year, what with knee and hip replacements followed by Covid and lockdown.
 
Only ten allowed at any one time in the pool with a limit of 45 minutes on each session and that includes changing room time. Still it was relaxing to be in the water again.
 
 
These stags are a familiar sight outside Dunblane’s famous Gothic pile, a spa hotel now closed. Today the place had an eerie atmosphere with its shuttered windows, total silence and absence of people and cars.
