The dropped stitch

Hatston pier

A fairly successful day in terms of finding addresses. There are still some mystery buildings on the industrial estate to identify but it can wait for another day.

I have overdone it on the seed planting front (again) and took advantage of being in town to look for some more pots. None to be had. Apparently they are in short supply - lots of Lockdown gardening has increased demand, I guess. Shearers said they hadn't been able to get any from their usual supplier but hope to have a shipment arriving next week. Will it be a question of .... form an orderly queue please?

Photo taken at the end of the pier, Hatston, where we catch the ferry to Aberdeen or Shetland - depending on the day of the week.
