While I Was Away

...so many flowers awakened. It’s been warm but windy today. We woke up way too early but I caught up on laundry, cleaned up the kitty area, put away everything we brought home, etc. My body said “that’s enough!” after lunch. Oh, the yard work that awaits me. Hopefully, tomorrow will be sunny so I can get busy weeding, trimming and mulching. There are so many flowers and shrubs in bloom. I really love the color of this azalea which has just started to bloom. Hubby had a doctor appointment this morning. Then he cut the grass at church and school and is working on ours now. We will have our leftovers for dinner so it will be an easy evening. When I was designing all these flower beds, my wise father said that one day, I’d regret all the work I was creating for myself. That day has arrived. So, what am I doing tomorrow? Planting two more beds in front of my she shed! Some folks never learn...But the exercise I get hopefully will make it a worthwhile endeavor.
