Open the curtains!

I was a bit unpopular this morning because I opened the curtains (briefly) at about 6am and took this photograph of the sunrise. I then closed them again…but sleep did not return. Boo.

Lovely day with lots of eating - breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Coffee and cake this afternoon also in the hotel. A couple of very cold beers watching the sea this afternoon, in front of the hotel. But we took a pretty improving walk around the cliffs to Rascarrel bay and back across the fields from there, so we’re probably broadly in credit on the food vs exercise equation.

It’s funny how quickly you get used to the pleasures of being away and being looked after.
