bee fly

WFH. Progress on two project. It's still surprising how long things take.

Spent an hour in the sunshine during my lunch break looking for beasties in Newington Cemetery. There were so many hoverflies. I watched a male wolfspider do its semaphore dance (see extra). I also saw the female but it escaped my camera. I was well chuffed to spot the bee fly (Bombylius major) on my way home. So nice to have this space across the road.
