The Dipping Bridge at Merthyr Mawr.
We had a walk to the Dipping Bridge at Merthyr Mawr . This 15th century bridge was used by farmers to give their sheep a dip in the spring of each year. They would push the sheep reluctant through the holes in the parapets into the River Ogmore and drag them back out as they floated past.
