Need to get out more

My day brightened up when I noticed this lonely tulip this morning. There used 5 of them. I really must pay more attention and give my bulbs some TLC. More snowdrops are out and the little daffs are making themselves known.
Blackies are busy in the ivy hedge so I hope they stay. I deliberately left some twigs and debris about which I thought might entice them. We don't seem to have so many cats around to frighten them off.
