...starting at 7:30. The only person (out of 8) whose main job wasn't standing around watching was the guy driving the excavator.
Lots of speculation about President Biden's speech to Congress (or a small portion of it) last night. At least I was able to watch it. It was ambitious yet credible. If he really did pay for it by raising taxes on corporations it would go a long way toward narrowing the income gap in this country.
After all the angst about getting a Covid vaccination, anyone over 16 can now get a vaccination without an appointment because they now have too much vaccine. We're down to the hesitaters and the anti-vaxxers and the stockpiles of Astra Zeneca ordered but not approved by the FDA. Don't ask me why... Maybe they should send it to India....
We may move into the yellow tier (the least restrictive) next week. I'm not even sure what that will mean but a lot of us have given up on trying to understand what it means and are relying on common sense.
The pilates studio is open again at 50% capacity, but they don't have room to profitably teach mat classes there yet. They will continue on Zoom and I will venture into the studio with mixed feelings for a private reformer class.
