Not my favourite day as it started with the disciplinary for Moses, the plonker who caused such a drama last week.

The Director of APD was the chair person and couldn’t quite believe the story he fed her that resulted in him stealing a bike, cycling over 70km in the middle of the night, on some of Joburg’s worst roads, and breaking the curfew laws.

He hasn’t the best record in terms of personal safety as in the eight years I have known him, he has been mugged, attacked or assaulted four times. Bad enough for the healthiest of people but add hemophilia to the mix and it becomes a disaster.

Sometimes you just have to accept you can’t help everyone.

Our wander in the woods with Shiv was a welcome break from the nonsense of the day.
