Thursday Blip

What a super day! Had mixed weather on the way down to Cornwall, but the sun came out in the afternoon.
Sue came over to me this morning, and we left at 8am to drive down to meet Jennyg at the Tehidy Country Park. Got there at 10.30 in time for a mug of coffee before a wander around the park started in the area near the Cafe and the pond. I couldn't get over how tame the squirrels were, but there is a regular footfall of walkers with food for them.

We then drove around to the other side of the park and wandered through the bluebell wood. Jenny left us there, as she had to go and get her 2nd vaccination. We stayed a while longer, before leaving to get some lunch at Portreath.

From there we started to wend our way back to Barnstaple, this time on the A39.  Did make a couple of detours, making a quick visit to Boscastle, then I took the coastal route via Widemouth Bay, into Bude and home.

I am going to head to bed , and I will catch up with you all tomorrow, and will post some extras :-) x
