Have been going through some old photos and this one turned up to make me smile today. It's Raoul, the snake I used to own, now a much loved pet of a young relative, my cousin's feisty granddaughter Jasmine. I miss the way he used to enjoy burrowing through hair, to the horror of some friends who were rather less keen on him than are Jas and I.
