Moonlit clouds

An atmospheric sky in the very early hours (just after midnight). Waited up in the hope of a clear shot of the moon, surrounded by moonlit clouds, between the two chimneys. But, alas, it was not to be - just a couple of minutes after this was taken a huge bank of black clouds obscured the moon altogether. C'est la vie...

Where did Spring go? Far too cold, wet, and windy for garden yoga this afternoon. Maybe tomorrow! Never mind, it meant there was plenty of time to finish off the sanding. On to the next stage tomorrow.

Nice long chat with Tom on the phone this evening. He's had his DNA tested, and the ancestry results were quite interesting. Tempted to follow suit, and even to do a family tree, but MrM reckons that the former would be an expensive waste of time, and I suspect that the latter would prove to be very time consuming. We'll see!
