Back to reality

Hit the daily grind with a bang.

Managed to switch the phones off, didn't realise until 2.30pm (this could be a good habit...).

Broke the printer. Did lots of stomping and swearing around the room. Then, as always, had it pointed out to me that it wasn't the printer I was just being thick.

My colleague took pity on me and helped me get boards ready for a client's meeting (knew I shouldn't have switched the phones back on!). However she managed to slice a sliver off her finger whilst cutting prints and bled all over the boards. I patched her up with that emergency kit of loo paper and masking tape. She took over the printing whilst I wielded the scalpel... until I managed to slice exactly the same bit off my finger (actually I'm amazed I have any flesh left there after all these years) and bled over everything else.

To top it off someone has sent us a letter with no stamp. We not only have to pay the fine of £1.15 but need to drive 24 miles round trip to pick the damn thing up. Grrrrrr....!
