The Boys

Today I had an appointment with my neurosurgeon to plan yet another spinal injection to address the pain in my back.  I had two shots last year which helped and knew I'd probably need to do that again, so here we are.  My doctor is very competent and I had no trouble last year but I'm afraid he's not very good at patient relations.  He's very brusque and seems insensitive but I suppose those aren't the really important qualities.  It's probably way more important that he knows where to put the needles than it is for him to make me feel less scared.  But it is my spine, after all.  Anyway, I'll find out when the event will happen once they consult with insurance and my cardiologist.  This has all been very depressing, not to mention painful.
