Done

After three months, we’ve finished the repairs makeover, freshly painted pantry, new paint colour on the walls (robin egg blue), new floors, new skirting boards and new wallpaper all the way from Belgium.   While it may sound a long time, it really hasn’t been that bad considering the whole thing is an insurance claim.  All the contractors have been amazing, so friendly and doing such top quality workmanship. They have been a joy to have in our home. 
The bottom photo in this collage is what came in the mail this morning.  A postcard from Lexi sent when they were having a few day away at Charters Towers, a town a few hours drive inland from Townsville.  Her words read “To Nana & Gdad Breakfast was nice here. Love Lexi”  Precious. 
After the men had finished the papering, we took ourselves off for a walk, it’s been quite a warm day.
