The prodigal returns... For a bit.

I have a difficult relationship with church.

Haven't been for ages,for obvious reasons.

The local CofE opened for private meditation so I felt the urge and went and spent some quiet time there.

There was something very calming about reading from the Common Book of Prayer.

It gives a grounding and a quiet peace that is a comfort in a world which feels like it's just going mad.

Not sure what I believe these days, but this was soothing to a troubled mind.
