A Good Way to Finish
Our last day away started with Jamie getting a haircut as there was a salon just over the road from our digs. The appointment to set up his new wheelchair to suit him, which was the reason for yesterday's diversion, took almost three hours, rather longer than we'd expected. This left very little time for my treat of the week, a visit to Aberconwy Nursery, which was on our way home. One of the UK's premier alpine plant growers, a family run business, they have a fantastic range of excellently grown plants. I'm not really ready to give the best home to many of these but still came away with a tray full of specials which will doubtless all feature here in due course. The nursery is close to Bodnant Gardens so a future trip will hopefully include a stop there too.
The trip to Poole was sometimes challenging, often exhausting but we've both ended on a high and I do feel energised despite the tribulations we survived. No doubt we'll be down there again before too long.
