"Empowerment"

The sculpture which was sponsored by Alstrom Power ( now Siemens ) was made by Stephen Broadbent. it represents the turbine blades which is a nod to Lincoln's industrial heritage. They stretch across the river Witham in the centre of Lincoln..
Well it's been a great day, took 2 of my old canon speedlites to LCE which have made a substantial part payment to the Olympus speedlite and receiver and command unit . Plus they will have it for me tomorrow :-) so looks like Red Sonia will be modeling again over the weekend, just hope it makes life a whole lot more straight forward to operate !
Took the blip while i was in town this morning, still playing with the fisheye as it's wide Wednesday :-)
Then this afternoon after dropping off my daughter to work went on to Hartsholme park to photograph the heron chicks , see extra which was taken with Olympus M1 Mkiii , 100-400 mm lens with 1.4 x converter in this format that equals 1,120 mm full frame !! Oh and hand held :-)
