Jemima Puddle-Duck in the Rain............

..............the first rain we have had for a little while. One of the ducks from the beck decided she would rather drink from this puddle than from the stream. I never know why they do this!

Daughter Anni and Himself are approaching the end of their holiday in the Dominican Republic and arrive home early Tuesday morning. Hope they have a good flight. Anni left me a boxed card to open tomorrow (M0thering Sunday) - and, no doubt, I shall get a text from her as well. From all accounts they have enjoyed themselves and the Hotel and food have both been excellent. They will feel a marked difference in the weather!!

Weather is dull and rainy - Temperature at 4 deg C. - don't think we shall see much sun today!
