LD 401 Slowly does it.

The next stage of emerging from lockdown started on Monday with ( amongst other things)  hotels and restaurants allowed to open for serving food and drink.   

Alcohol is not available inside and there are strict regulations covering  a variety of things including checking in (using in this case,  I was impressed to see, the new Scottish Government Check In Scotland app) and  social distancing, but it was great to be out in Tighnabruiach today  (prior to delivering newspapers for the SNP election campaign in Argyll & Bute) and to be able to drop in to the Kames Hotel for a light lunch. 

Out on the water there were even a few kayaks and a couple of boats as people took their first post lockdown steps, or paddle strokes, back towards normality.
