With nothing on camera as it had been a busy day I just happened to catch sight of my kestrel sitting on the chicken fence post. Lucky me!

I appear to have an issue with my photography but am not quite sure what it is but am working on it. Was not very happy with the focus with any of the shots - this has been an issue for a while but am not sure exactly if it isn't the lens which I had serviced: they put in quite a few new parts as it was damaged when I went a purler on black ice outside our house earlier this year. Many other thoughts come to mind but we shall see.
