Fountain.

Visiting my Dad today. I left home early so I could find a birthday card for him - he turns 90 tomorrow! There's nothing he wants present - wise at the moment, so I will wait until he does want something.

Unfortunately, as well as his card, I had to present The Form again and ask for more documents and details. This sent him into an instant panic! I really wish that I could have left it for another day, but they only give you a short amount of time to get it done and returned, leaving me little choice. I think I have all the info they want now and most of the documentation so I will be able to write it all out tomorrow and just get his signature next time. Hopefully this will be an end of it!

When a family member goes into a nursing home it is a pretty stressful time without all this anyway. They make it so pressured and complicated - if people like my Dad had no-one to help them they would really struggle! I am struggling! Maybe they make it really difficult so people  give up and either remove the person from care and struggle on or just pay the full amount and suffer the financial hardship

Once home I had a coffee and a snack, then went for a walk in the park. It is quite dull in there today compared to recently. Of the shots I took this is the least meh!
