Cherry Snow

The blossom is getting to the end of its spring and now when the wind blows, there is a delicate shower of petals.  I liked the dappled light on the lawn and the dusting of petals.  It was also nice to stand under a load of fluttering petals but I'm a soppy git like that.

The rest of the day was not so nice.  But it's over.  Work computer switched off.  It can all wait until tomorrow.

It would be good if someone could arrange for tomorrow to be some time in 2025.

Oh and I was reminded today that Saturday is the 1st May.  The first of May is usually a holiday here but because it's on a Saturday, I do not get a day off.  We do have all the shops shut though.  This year and next year are bad for us office workers when it comes to public holidays+++++++++
