Wedding party

Today we witnessed the wedding of a German-Chinese couple. Two families, without a common language, thrust across the world to bless the union of their children. The rituals included a Maori blessing, a Tibetan bhuddist blessing blessing, lighting of symbolic candles and the demonstration of lots of love. Afterwards we celebrated with interpretive dance, poetry, and photos demonstrating the gradual movement of the couple across the world to meet each other.
