Red whiskered bulbul and chick

Here a chick waits patiently for its parent to return and feed it. 

I was watching the chick and only realised too late that the parent was in the tree before it flew off. I waited for ages for it to return while the chick waited patiently, calling a bit and grooming itself. After almost an hour the parent returned but I didn’t want to take my eyes off them to get them both in focus.

It’s quite complicated, this birding business.
