Station Street Public Housing

This block in Newtown dates from the 1960s or 70s. I couldn’t find any information online except it seems to have had a makeover in the last five years when the orange cladding was added and that most of the residents are elderly. When so much public housing in prime residential areas is being sold off, it’s great that this remains.

There’s pawpaws growing streetside (hard to see in this pic but between the two big bits of greenery) and a communal garden further along.
