Growing a plant

My 3 year old son loves all living things, animals, plants, flowers and he always asks to buy flowers when we are in the supermarket. Sometimes I let him choose some, and he mostly picks brightly coloured varieties.

However he also gets a bit upset that they don't last very long, so I suggested we buy a plant instead of flowers. So we bought this hyacinth last week and I have just got a pot to put it in!

The first day we had it home he asked me to wake him up if it started to grow!! He is enjoying seeing it grow taller every day. Now we have the pot it looks a bit better and I let him water it this morning.

I have never grown plants before and my knowledge is very limited so it is lovely to start doing this with him. It will teach me!!!

Another blip when it has grown a little more!
