Waihopai Valley Road
The Mistress has had a busy day today with people popping in and out all day. She was even given a bunch of flowers - Gerberas. She was going to take some macros of those, but then at 4.39pm, a friend emailed and said 'lets go photographing the hills - somewhere where there is no vineyards!'.
Well in Blenheim that is quite hard, there are vineyards everywhere! So it was decided to explore the Waihopai Valley Road and some side roads off there. This image was on one of our stops and what the road looks like - long and straight with farmland and gum tress. We could even be in Australia - Heaven Forbid!
The Mistress and her friend found the Avon Valley - which is a definite must to go back as there is lots of interesting things to photograph down there. Soon. Before we go away. Very Soon.
The Mistress has just told me the Gerberas will be photographed tomorrow.
