The Muffin Shop
We occasionally take the grandbairns for a picnic at the beach at Mossy Point when they visit from Canberra with Mummy and Daddy. They are not with us this weekend, but today we thought we'd while away some of Saturday there on our own, calling in first at the nearby Muffin Shop, a cafe (and art gallery) serving fine pastries and other delectables, made on the premises.
The boys, as it happened, were having fish and chips in Canberra at the same time, "in honour of Grandma and Grandad at the Beach", Mummy reported when sending a photo to my phone. Daddy then joined the conversation from San Jose, California, where he had just arrived on a business trip.
We were together after all, albeit briefly. Made our day.
