Sit

Luke often borrows his neighbour’s dog Maggie and takes her for walks on the beach. Today she was due at the dog groomers at 1pm so we took her out beforehand to get wet and sandy :-) Maggie loves a ball (see extra) but Jess isn’t too bothered; she prefers chasing the sand which gets kicked up when we walk..but here Luke is doing a pretty good job of holding their attention.

Luke and I both had haircuts this afternoon, our first for many months. I had chopped mine fairly recently but needed a proper cut. The stylist, Jordan, was very understanding and she quickly got my hair into shape. Her dog Britney (a chihuahua) sat in the salon on a pink fluffy cushion like a dog princess.

There were a few showers today so we got out the chess board. Years since I played and I was surprised to win the first game..but after that it all went downhill. I have vowed to study, learn and improve before we can play again.
