This Ellie went to London

I was in London today, and the husband had to be there this evening, so we did a child-swap at the train station.  Cue MANY tears from the youngest as he desperately wanted to be on the train as well. The husband and youngest have a 'game' with Ellie - the beloved snuggly toy of the youngest, who always seems to get into trouble with the husband.  We have two Ellies, this one went to London and the report back was that he tried to eat the husband's dinner! It made the youngest smile after a very tearful (and then angry) car journey home.  Food, cuddles and bed - and he was asleep in no-time.

Today I'm grateful for:
Someone stepping in to help sort something out that I said was a problem over a month ago but wasn't listened to.  The upshot is that it was very publicly sorted out and someone is a little red faced (deservedly).
Somehow making things work, despite crazy plans around childcare and juggling life - it all kind of comes together
The problem that was sorted has left me with less work to do, so I had an evening on the sofa!
