Looking Regal is the Eagle

I'm always excited to see what type of bird shows up in a nesting area I watch.

For the second year in a row, it's Mr. and Mrs. Eagle. I'm naming them Earnest and Ernestine. 

Even though E & E are too far off for me to properly shoot, I do enjoy seeing them. The problem? When the regal eagles show up, several pairs of nesting blue herons do not.

The actual nest is very obscured, 
making it very hard to see.
I'm glad ole Ernie left the nest,
and perched in a nearby tree.
