Saffron Walden Community Hospital

I was asked to go for a scan as a follow up from a hysteroscopy appointment at Addenbrookes 6 months ago.  This time it was in Saffron Walden Community Hospital which is considerably closer, almost empty and has a very friendly feel.

On top of that, I was back in the office within half an hour.  (It would have taken me half an hour just to park and walk to the correct department at Addenbrookes, as well as the half an hour each way to get there).

I love Addenbrookes but for this sort of (routine) procedure it was great to have access to specialist equipment so close to home. We're very lucky.

For the record all seems to be normal.
