Fremont street

Went to Fremont street last night and it was amazing. I can't believe I didn't go there 5 years ago when I first came to Vegas. There were 3 seperate stages down the street with seperate rock bands playing on each one. There was also the heart attack grill on the street were people over the weight of 350lbs can eat free. Somehow that does not seem right!

We gambled in the golden nugget, (first casino in Vegas). Drank loads and mingled. We met some quality people, 2 of them shared a taxi with us to get to Fremont street then they ended up in the zip line cue with us.

I went to a toilet in fremont street and some red neck standing next to me shouted we are wasting beer pi**ing and we should pi**ing in cups and drinking it??? Everyone whooped and hollowed in the toilets. You have to love the red necks!

In one of the casinos on Fremont a group of America college students were drunk, walking through the casino carrying a full size basket ball net and stand to take to their room.

I went on the Zip line (pic) that goes the length of Fremont street and it was an unbelievable experience. The only problem is it didn't last long enough but it was $20 well spent.

I also won another $900 tonight in the casinos. I've now got $700 more than what I brought to Vegas, I can't believe how my luck is in. I'm tempted to give up gambling the rest of the week and walk away whilst I'm up.

Woke up this morning and it was raining, yes raining in Nevada. Walking to catch the coach to the NASCAR track 2 guys in a Chevrolet pulled up and asked us if we wanted to buy a diamond ring? How random is that??

When we got to the race track I felt so out of place wearing Lacoste trainers, smart jeans, smart hoodie and an obey flat peak cap. after purchasing a jimmie johnson hoodie, cap and lanyard I soon looked like a hardened NASCAR fan. Suprise suprise it rained at the race track so the qualifying was cancelled today. Hopefully the next 2 days will be sunshine to enjoy the racing.
