The dropped stitch

window display

Rather a grey and wet day. Not lashing rain, just a steady, persistent drizzle.

Not ideal meter reading weather but there are generally bright moments that cheer me up. One such today was spotting this display in the window of the local radio station.

Seeing interesting things in shop windows is an upside of working in the town centre. The downside just now is the restricted opening hours, with many places actually closed on a Monday. Shop meters are also sometimes in meter cupboards behind shop displays which may have to be dismantled. It's no problem to call back later but I have to make sure I am remembering which shops I said I'd return to, and at which times. It's all good for the brain, I'm sure.
Is it better than eating fish though..... because I know which I would rather do.
